Sorry Guys, but TVan, Joe W. and I are canceling out due to extreme cold. Not good for the boat's live wells, boat motors etc... Also the ramps will be slick. :cry:

Due to the weather and road conditions, I have also decided to cancel this trip.

I have a double basket fryer and 2 gallons of oil and fish batter if someone wants to use it.

Stay warm and Be careful on the boat ramps as they will be slippery!

Walt, thanks for offering to help. I wouldn't worry about logging to much more this year, ice is right around the corner (small bays on DL are already freezing over).

I will be canceling my plans to go to Red Wing also. I am just not prepared to fish in a blizzard again this year. Te forecast for Saturday does not look too good.

I just checked the outlook for the weekend and besides being a little cold the wind is only supposed to be around 6 mph and there not really calling for any snow from what I seen. From Everts Resort on fb they only got 2" or so of snow so roads should be ok.. got to head to Winona tomorrow will let everyone know how the roads look.. sam

Ben Ahrens and I will b fishing Friday and Saturday. Plan on meeting for dinner and drinks at the bowling ally across from the Super 8 Friday evening.

well was in Winona today they had about 2" of snow roads were good but when I left at 3pm it was coming down... big flakes...
