Yup----- I got the flamingo ready to go. Does it go to greg or doug. I always rely on my fishing partner to help me navigate in tight situations. Guess we got a two-for!
Seriosly guys-- glag to hear all came out all right. I KNOW that wing and it can be just what it was at any time of the year. Heads up cvwc anglers. There are eyes there though if you fish it and don't hit it. Hope to hear the rest of the story from Doug. Jim D.
Fisheye Breaking News
Re: Fisheye Breaking News
I will have to give the fisheye guy credit for the breaking news even while having goat responsibilities. I do think Greg was thinking that Carl has done it before, he (not me) thought he'd try jumping the wall too. We are safe, but a little stiff from bailing 4 gallons of water per second with a 5 gallon pale. After loading the boat there was no need to pull the drain plug as we discovered we had a new opening about 1 foot by 2 foot directly under the center of the boat. Actually it's a great location for this procedure.
Once safely ashore I reminded Greg he owed me a buck for the big fish of the day. Which would have won the tournament between our boat and the "Team Teske" boat which reportedly kept some smaller (legal saugers?) fisheys that somehow the Fisheye guy wasn't informed about or failed to report. Has anyone tried that flexsteal stuff? Maybe we can still salvage the boat.
Is it legal to win the Pink Flamingo twice?

Re: Fisheye Breaking News
Well i'm glad to hear that Greg and Doug are OK what a deal Well i got out and about today and run into an old friend (Sniffer Dog) and he was filling me in on our two retired finest It seems that they must have a thing going i won't tell on you if you don't tell on me It has been said that the one and only(Fisheye) must like dogs so when he plows out a drive way and gets by a dog kennel he will hit it with the plow so bad that the dog can get out and run And then has to call and get a tow for the big ford To get back on the road But then in return he makes a tow truck out of the big ford (just kills me to say that) big ford and helps out his freind who can't back his boat down his driveway and needs a pull out of the yard I will bet that will be a day he can't fish for fixing the yard backup Sure is funny that we don't hear about things like this but let a guy hit a wingdam or a guy trys to see if his truck will float with the windows down And old Fisheye is on it O well i'm going to try and get out more and stop and see my old friend (Sniffer Dog) and keep up on things.
Tim i think we should try and get Al C. to give some tips on backing up at the next meeting Just trying to help out with reporting nothing but the FACTS

Re: Fisheye Breaking News
Hey Tony,
I told carl the other day he was lucky the "Old Fisheye" didn't pull him out or he would have told the whole story.
But due to the fact that it was I that saved his butt he would problaby get off without anyone finding out.
I knew those Sniffer Dogs would not be able to keep it quiet about the plowing job.
Wait til you hear the story about a Kubota tracter losing it's roof panel and that Christie Door Co. were replacing a garage door. I'm not doing anything next March.
I'm just glad Old Fisheye was out of town covering the Genoa area.
