All-
Most people haven’t heard of the FNRA group so I thought I would pass along some information. Please do the same to anyone who you think may be interested. The FNRA annual banquet is coming up in April. My understanding is that most of the invites go out to NRA members due to the mailing list being shared. I am a member and volunteer here and there throughout the year. We do support local shooting clubs, youth programs, shooting sports, etc with money raised. The FNRA is not the NRA. There is a not the political push on gun rights, etc that you will find with the NRA. The group has grown each year and the banquet is expected to be larger than last. Banquet has a similar flavor to a DU or PF banquet. Raffles, auctions, games, etc, etc. Take a look. Instructions on invite say to contact Brian for tickets. You can also let me know if you are interested and I will help out in getting tickets. Web address is http://www.friendsofnra.org

From FNRA Website "Half the money raised at every Friends of NRA event throughout the country is given back to the state to fund programs and projects within their own area. The other half goes to The NRA Foundation and is used to fund similar projects with a national scope.
The NRA Foundation grants provide essential program funding that ensures the availability of quality training and educational opportunities nationwide. Grants benefit programs such as youth education, law enforcement training, hunter education, conservation, firearms and marksmanship training and safety, and much more.
