Well if you're planning on some good fall fishing on the Cedar River in Cedar Falls like I was, FORGET IT!!! Not sure who or why the decision was made, but yesterday morning CF opened one of the gates at the dam and they're draining the river. Someone said they heard it was to clean up the river...Last July we picked up 4 dumpsters full of junk in the 25th annual Cedar River Festival in that section of river.

Yes there was an article in the paper about the Cottage Row people needing a lower river level to remove some junk. I suspect that Old Fisheye is behind this somehow. Doesn't he live on Cottage Row????
