Thanks for the support Fisheye, Handline1, Doug, and Tim. We put the 619 on shore, sat in our lawn chairs, cracked a few cold ones, threw out some crawlers under bobbers, and caught some better fish. Well thats what we would of done if it wasn't against the rules to leave your boat and consume adult beverages during tournament hours. Maybe we should do that for our club tournaments. First day we spent half the day banging spinnerbaits off the trees with nothing to show for it. On day two we spent the whole day rigging livebait and were able to catch 2 good overs. Caught our fish in the same area both days trolling crawlers on slow death hooks at 0.7-1.2 mph. Lake Oahe is a great fishery so get out there if you get a chance.
