Many thanks to the members who helped with the trout stocking-kids day. A special thanks to Brenda, Tony and their daughter for the delicious tube steaks. I think we had just over 100 kids and many parents (and kids) thanked the CVWC for the good time. One scout master said a couple of kids caught their first fish ever! I hope they're hooked :D

PS, there's a new "BLACK" Ford Super Duty with a flamed grill on the prowl...BEWARE

Old Fisheye Here,
Great news on the success of the "Kids Fishing the Cedar Valley" event.
Due to the fact I arrived a little late, I forgot to see if anyone took pictures.
I'm sure someone seen me eating the one little 1/2 hog dog   I had and I'm sure someone took a picture when I wasn't looking.
Please forward them all if any and I will post them.

Thanks
"Old Fisheye"

Another successful CVWC outing for children --young & old. Last count from Mylo was 102 children picked up a prize. Also many adults shared in gobbling down hot dogs provided by Tony & Brenda with help from Taylor --
It was great to see people showing up to enjoy the outdoors with the children. The day started off rather gray and on the cool side, but eventualy the sun broke out and it turned into a very pleasant day.
There were 1875 trout stocked along with seven brutes.
As soon as I get pictures I will post or send them to grasshopper to post.

TO all the volunteers --JOB WELL DONE!--

PS. I am glad Brenda had not yet arrived to take pictures of us putting up the tent --you all know who you are--- we really should elect a tent master.
