I had my 2nd surgery on my eye 3/28 in Ia City and follow up apt. this last Tues. Everything went better than expected and for now my retina is fully reattched. The Dr. released me from 24/7 keeping my head down to now 4-5 hrs a day and also I started driving again. If you see me keep clear, driving with one eye is a challenge. Anyway I truly appreciate all the members well wishes and can't wait to get fishing again. It's killing me hearing of all the good fishing that's been going on. Thanks again, Randy H.

Hey Randy, Good to hear your up and moveing around, I too like Ranger Doug question the driving part. I've seen you drive down the river before and I guess he might be right. :lol
You haven't missed much fishing as it not been that good. Lot of little ones. Except if your one of those Handliners. Then you might have missed some.

well I go back to the eye doctor on monday maybe we can meet again. Remember I can't see out my right eye so stay on my left.

Randy, Glad to hear your condition is improving --- if you can't go fishing and have to keep your head down for 4-5hrs -- maybe you should try mushroom hunting to pass the time
Don't let the comments from DB and TB get to ya ---I've seen both drive, boat & truck --good thing they have a governor on those FORDS when they reach 92mph or they would just run everyone over.

Ranger Doug and I put governors on our trucks so we wouldn't suck up those Chevys,
& GMCs when we went by.

Just think what would happen if I bought one of those Rangers?????????????

Randy it's good to hear you are doing ok. If you take Wingding up on his offer let us know if he holes true to buying breakfast i think he's pulling your leg but as for being a boat boy he is the best he will take care of you but i just don't know about breakfast. Glad to hear you are doing better.

Hey Gang,
Talked with Randy yesterday and he's getting better. He was fishing at Geo Wyth last week. If he drops the bobber just off the dock he's okay.
If he makes a long cast he has trouble knowing when the fish has the bait.
He might be at the meeting monday.
He advised he is going to have cateract surgery as soon as he gets the pressure up a little higher.
We all wish him well.
