Hi All
I wanted to let ya all know that on 2-16-12, I went to Brushy fishing with a friend of mine, as we had 8-10 Inch of ice most everywhere, I was out front, and fell in.
I had on a arctic armor suit, and I floated, and got out. The water was about 20' deep, and very cold. I was dry from the arm pits up. If you do any ice fishing , I would say save your money and get one of the suits. They are cheaper then a casket.
I do feel without the suit on I would have went under water, and might not have made it out.
Good luck fishing.
Remember you can't getem if ya don't go.

HEY DOUG,
I like it, that 5-8 inch ice was pretty thin and cold.......
I almost lost my fishing partner for Ken-Mar-Kee....in June.
Rumor was Ann had already called the insurance man....
The best thing is he took a partner with him to save his butt.
glad your safe buddy. besides, Old Fisheye wouldn't have any new stories. I sure hope he don't find out about this.....
