Hey fellas how goes it? Hope the fishings been good for everyone. Ive been pouring & tying my own jigs using chicken, pheasant and maribou feathers. Tying some with matching stinger hooks. Having a lot of success with them do far. My best day this fall was 16 walleye - all but 2 were between 17"-22". I've also caught four 7 pounders in the last month using my jigs - one of them wasn't even baited. I have lots of pics of the jigs and the fish. Email me for more info. Jigs can be customized to your specifications. Note the featehred stinger hook in the fish's mouth in the pic.

I think you should pack up some of your jigs, come to a meeting, and give us some lessons!

The meetings are held on the 1st Monday of every month, 7pm at the AMVETS Club in Cedar Falls. Meeting last 1/2 to 1 hr business and then fishing demo's, reports, how to's and then networking (BS-ing ) with your fellow fishermen.
We do have a couple of members that come up from CR If you would like I could give you their contact info and maybe you could work something out to come up with them next meeting.
IF you have checked our website we are having a Banquet Feb 12 - you are welcome to come. just need to let us know how many and what you will want to eat for supper. Menu is on the webpage.
You may contact me directly if you want to talk about the club in more detail etc..
BTW nice fish!

One little tidbit...the AMVETS sells alchol, but none is allowed at the meeting. The BS part it's ok.
