Cedar Valley Walleye Club Forum

I have checked with the Amvets in Cedar Falls for the banquet. They have suggested a Friday or Sunday night so that we could have the use of the big room instead of the small room in the back. We are looking at Sunday February 6 . Would like some feed back as to the place and time. TONY TIGER

Tony Sunday at the amvets sounds good to me, that way people who have to work
on friday can attend.

Tony, Feb. 6 is Superbowl Sunday. I know I will stay home for that. But I also know a lot of people could care less. So go for it and hope for the best. I want to thank you for stepping up and helping the club. RH

That would work better, the AMVETS always has a Super Bowl Party and I'm guessing it draws a pretty good crowd.

Sunday the 13th sounds good to me.

Sunday Feb 13 looks like a winner for me. - Good job Tony! can kill two birds with one stone Can cover Valentines day & get to party with friends --does'nt get any better than that!

I prefer the idea of a Friday or Saturday night instead of a Sunday night. We have multiple club members who live a couple hours away that may want to attend. Getting home on a Sunday night at 10:00pm or after doesn't sound very fun. Also, it is much easier to find babysitters for Friday & Saturday nights instead of Sunday evenings for those of us with little ones.
