The bud light can bite is in full swing! Caught a full bud light on a SR-5 in the golden alburnus pattern. Since they are surface feeders I'd suggest using any surface poppers, or shallow diver cranks. Seem to be most active on weekends (especially long holiday weekends with warm weather) or generally the mon-tues afterwards. I can't remember the limits on bud lights, but I think it varies person to person. Might want to check the reg book before you go fishing for them.
Crappies and smallies are hitting jigs too.
