Harpers Ferry Final Results

16 boats departed from the launch site greeted with light wind and cool temperatures, (unlike the previous several days and prior tournament at Genoa.) Although fishing conditions were good overall, a mixed bag of results were recorded. Eight teams caught a total of 26 walleye weighing 96.92lbs. almost a 3.75lb. average with all fish immediately recorded and released! With water temps. in the low 40's, about half of the catch were pre-spawned females. Only three teams recorded a five fish limit. Several presentations were used, pitching jigs on current breaks and slow pulling crank baits being the most effective.

There was a tie for Big Fish honors of 6.14lbs. between the Team of Kinkade/Martin and Brady Barker/Jonathon Martin, each will split the total of first and second place. 3rd. place went to the team of Holten and Stuefen 5.39lbs.
