Lost or Misplaced Antique Cell Phone....Report by the Eagle

Hey Old Eagle “Eye”, 
Just happen to be returning from Mason City visiting “Old Fisheye”at the Rehab Center when I stopped in Charles City to get a pop and gas up.
While at the Kwik Trip a young fellow and a couple cute girls seen my hat and wanted to know if I was in the Walleye Club out of Cedar Falls. Of course I told them how important I was, and they wanted to know if I knew a guy that looked like Santa Claus
And again I said that I did know him, and I had to question how they knew him….. Seems that while driving down the interstate they seen this old blue cooler laying along the road in the ditch. They stopped and checked it out.
Inside they found a couple of water bottles, an apple and an ancient flip phone……While checking it out the phone rang and whoa an behold it was some guy that had lost it out of the boat when they were returning from a fishing trip at Clear Lake.
Kid thought it was unusual that that an expert fisherman would not have his equipment secure better in an open boat.
The KId did say that “Old Santa” thanked him and left an old beat up 20 dollar bill with him for returning the phone. Kid said that he wouldn’t pay a nickel for the phone as it appeared to be from the 80’s……….
I also received information of a radical driver in a gold colored truck south of Charles City heading north on Thursday afternoon. Informant was going south and noticed this truck because some guy looking like Santa Claus…….was driving….Well if this story checks out I might have to forward this to the last Pink Flamingo awardee……..Hello Walt.!!!!!!!
