After a tough day 1 here are where our club members sit:
51 - Schmitt/Halverson
62 - Sparks/Spraks
103 - Ahrens/Stuffen
103 - Merron/Merron
103 - Borwig/Borwig
Only 6lbs separates 25th-103rd. Good luck everyone!

Unfortunately, we did not have any club members make "All American" status (top 25) this year. It sounded like the fish were in the north end of the lake and it was like fishing at the Genoa Dam when the hot perch bite is going on. Here is where everyone ended up.

Talked to my friends who finished 5th and they didn't catch a keeper fish on the south end so moved to the north where it was muddy but started catching fish.. trolling close to the bottom in a river channel all three days. he said the second day skarlis ended up by next to them all day jigging and that day he got 19lbs.. the first day there was only 20 boats up there the next over have the field was there and he said you had to fight for your space.. sam
