Hey Gang,
took a trip to the river to check things out for this weekend. :o :o :o :o :o
Lots of snow around Praire, linksville & Genoa.

10-12 boats at the linksville parking lot. most were at the dam. Few people on the float.
Did'nt talk with anyone while driving thru the lot.   I even slow down to 45 mph.

Stop in the Genoa lot at 3:30pm. Only 42 trucks & trailers in the lot. talked to a couple of guys that were Perch fishing. One had a couple of small walleyes. :o :o :o :o
Lots of perch and all were 12-14 inchers. Counter 25 boats at the dam area. mostly below the float.
Quite a few people on the float.. :P :P :P :P
Lots were all clean and ramp was wet. 37 degrees. One guy said he got there at 7 am and the ramp wasn't bad but he said it will be slick in the morning due to the low temp. :D :D :D
Water level is very low all around. Desota Bay still has ice. Did also see a maintance Barge moving up towards Genoa. :o :o :o :o
Well that's all I have to report for now. Hope to see you all at the Ramp on Saturday. :D :D :D :D

Oh Yeah I did see Old Walleye Carl at Cabelas looking at a "Top Secret Snagging Rod". Beats me what he would want that for.
