Anyone know what the ice conditions are for Brushy, Beads, or Hendrick's Lakes in Iowa. Also any reports on the backwaters of the Miss pool 9 & 10?

The last reports on the DNR website was from 11/26 -- so a little out of date.

I'm looking for a place to ice fish this weekend if conditions permit.

Walter, helped a guy set up his shack yesterday on Beeds, the east end of the lake has 6-7" of ice. The west end opened up 2 weeks ago and I don't know about the condition there. It was open from the boat ramp north across the lake and to the west end. You can see the difference in the ice from shore, I would be very careful of this area.

Walt, they have been fishing Hendricks for quite a while. Most of the Miss backwater spots they are fishing everywhere. That would be your best bet IMO. Randy H
