Des Moines River Crappie

Went to the river this weekend with the intention of targeting some 'eyes', guys at the boat ramp had 30 crappies, so switched the plan of attack and caught several 9-11 inchers, a 13 and a 15 in slab. Seemed to be a lot of different sizes/year classes. I thought it was a white when I first saw it, then decided to net it. Limit- that went smoothly by they way. Picked up 2 13 inch eyes, only fished them for about 30 min.
