Miners creek hideaway campground Guttenburg

Post by 200lund »

Well stayed the week there and not a bad place, it's just as you come in to Guttenburg turn left at the bait shop then a quick right on miners creek road and its about 2 more miles. there are two cabins and 1 30' trailer for rent, I looked in all of them and the the big cabin rents for 90$ has 1 queen bed, 1 double, 1 pull out and a futon. ( it's 90$ for the first 4 people then 10$ per person after that.) the 2 cabin is kinda small but nice it has a bunk bed with the bottom being a double and a single on top then there is a small bed in a small loft.. this one is 60$ and has a small frig and micro.. plenty of parking for both.. the trailer is nice, sleeps 4 has own bathroom, and there's a grill for you to use..
camping
full 25$
elec and water 20$
tent 15$
and the fishing sucked bad....... unless you want to catch bluegills...

Thanks for sharing. At least you were fishing.

Was good to be fishing may have caught more but had dead battery after day 2 on the trolling motor.. so we had to anchor up to every thing..
In my opinion the cabins would work good for any teams wanting to rent them. just so everyone knows the baitshop hours are 6am to 5pm monday-saterday and on sunday its 6am-3pm
