Fished 5 days in South Dakota on oahe, 3 of us fished a lot in the Cheyenne river area, Caught a ton of fish but a lot of sorting 50 plus fish per day many of them running short 14" did get a couple over 20", 17-18, some nice smallmouth mixed in. Weather was mixed, rain, hail, rain wind. Fished a day on sharpe small eyes, few crappie one 14 1/2". Great time stayed at sulle buttes, nice trailer house close to couple ramps. Caught most fish orange spinners bottom bouncers, crawlers in afternoons, leeches in am. Water depths any where 6-35 ft

Good post Brian! Thanks for the Info. Sounds like you had pretty good fishing. I've never fished Oahe before, sounds like good numbers of fish. Looks like the Old Mighty Mississippi is going to be difficult to fish for awhile. Maybe will have to try South Dakota.
