Post by HookedUp1 »

Fished Genoa on Wednesday with Bill B and Joe W. Bite was slow  several hammer handles   Out of 3 of us fishing, kept 1 sauger, 3 walleyes & 1 perch. Fished Dam westide below float caught several undersized, however kept 2. Fished Minnesota Slough --marked fish but none were caught :( Fished Vicorty - same results. Fished Wisconsin side of dam - 2 Walleyes & 1 Perch :)
Hair jig & minnow worked bestin all cases.

Heard stories of a great perch bite --- Ask RH -- he has the scoupe ;)

Warm temp most all day but very windy.

Gosh it was nice to be on open water without playing bumper boats with the ice.

We handlined all day Weds. Saw Walt a couple times. Slow going but had 5 nice walleyes with 1 23" that was released. Going against the wind on the way home it was $99 for gas for truck and boat. RH
Rooster, I'm all shot to pieces, well you asked for it.
