I went up with a couple friends newer club members Bruce and Scott A. Day one we went for some meat and caught 10 good saugers for the table. We got caught in a lighting some that blew in and caught several of us by a huge suprise. We heard thunder and a minute later saw lighting close by, we scrambled to pack things up along with 50 other boaters. It rained very hard and the lighting was right on top of us with only one ramp open (and no place to dock) at Everts and some people not very good at loading with a strong current I found my in pouring rain and lighting over head. I'm glad to report no one was hurt and I will still be able to fish the next tournament. On Saturday morning we decided to check out some different areas and I came up with a 27 3/4 spawned out walleye. We found some good 15-16 inch eaters to bring home today also. On a side note, as we went to dock the boat a family of 8 was in a small boat 16 ft boat, going at a good clip, in a no wake zone, right by the Sherriff water patrol. Didn't look good as they were pulled in. Have a good Easter everyone!

Nice looking fish Doug. HUMMM No wake zone. I'd say you gave your location away. Go Fish!

Actually the no wake zone was was when we were heading into the marina and the sherrif was docked up at the entrance. So keep guessing! lol
