I joined the club to expand my walleye fishing skills beyond throwing a jig in Storm Lake and to meet others who shared the passion for chasing fish around. The past two years as a club member have far exceeded what I first expected to get out of the Club. The Club does a # of fantastic things and gets a lot out of tournament anglers and non tournaments anglers. I can honeslty say I have gained the most knowledge and befriended many wonderful fellow anglers fishing tournaments. Being a part of the NTC last summer was an amazing experience, one that I hope each angler gets to be a part of one day. So I am all for getting as many spots as we can, NTC, AIM, whatever, it PROMOTES the CVWC. I think we do a great job promoting and giving back. As far as tournament rules/regulations....I trust the board that was put in place and will always abide by the rules as they see fit. When it came time to run for offices I did not see a big line waiting to be President, but always sound like the same guys are complaining about something but never step to the front. We have a great President in place, lets follow his lead, along with the other board members and have some FUN. That's what is all about! I have learned a lot from you wiley old veterans of the water....but know I can soak in a lot more. Thanks CVWC...lets have a great 2011!
