Lac Seul lodges

Post by Thunderstick »

OK Clubmembers I'd like to tap your minds regarding Lac Seul lodges. My crew is looking at Williams Bay, Gold Pines and some others up on the NW corner. We have pretty much decided on a September trip, but where on Lac Seul is still open. So please let me know your advice regarding where the fishing is best in September, which lodges are best, etc.

Thanks,

Stayed at Lac Seul Lodge last labor day with Bob Stewart. Fishing was good, which is common for Lac Seul, and the cabins were the best I have stayed at for a Canadian lodge. Owner was one the of best I have come across as well. I have stayed at 7 different lodges in Canada so I do have some experience. No big fish over 25", but plenty of 18"-22" fish and plenty of eaters. Bob goes to this lodge 2-3 times a year and I see why. Good fishing, great lake, good accomidations, friendly ownership and staff, and reasonable price. If you are going to the NW section of Lac Seul I wouldn't think of staying at another lodge. You can talk to me and/or Bob at the meetings if you have any other questions.

Thanks Limit, We're booked in Lac Seul Lodge for the 2nd week of September. I'll have to get with you at a meeting and get some info on the hot spots.
