This Saturday April 20th. is our 19th annual Family Trout Stocking Day at North prairie lake in Cedar Falls. The Cedar Valley Walleye Club along with SCHEELS will be hosting this event. Tackle Boxes will be given away to the first 50 kid's. A free light lunch of Hot Dog's Chips and refreshments will be available.
Other activities include; St. Croix Rod Raffle, Kid's fishing pole drawings, Fishing tackle giveaways and Trout Fishing.
The stocking truck, coming from Decorah, is to arrive at 10:00am. the event will run until 2pm.
Our May Club meetings is Monday the 6th. As was discussed at the April mtg. along with the regular order of business, we would like to provide more fishing tactics, different tackle presentations, lure or line choices and any other tips to improve everyone's fishing success throughout the seasons. If anyone would like to share or provide a fishing technique let us know. Not asking for any specific locations just want to expand some basic knowledge.
