Our first tournament is in the books. last Saturday 12 teams departed at 7am. from the Harpers landing greeted by a cool and calm morning. Water was stained, viability about 8-10 inches, fishing was steady for most of the day, several big fish were also caught, recorded and released! As the day progressed the conditions warmed, and the bite continued to be fair to good for most anglers. 42 Walleye were recorded and released, weighing 173.53lbs. that's over a 4lb. average! Fish were caught pitching jigs, vertical jigging, long line dragging jigs, pulling stick baits and handlining.
