15 teams departed from Honey Creek landing Last Saturday morning ready to catch and score some Walleye's. It seems like every time we schedule a tournament the weather turns and the best bite was always the week before! We were greeted with unusually cool weather for July, 53 degrees in the am. That being said once again it was a tough bite with only one team recording a 5 fish limit, (Holten & Stuefen) one team had 3 fish, 5 teams had 2 fish and 5 teams had one fish. The Walleye were caught in a variety of ways, trolling crankbaits, pulling crawlers, vertical jigging, pitching plastic and using jigging spoons. Thanks to all that participated!
