Club News

Post by tahrens »

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas. This is the first year my family has not celebrated together. My oldest daughter is an R.N. working in the urgent care unit at Mercy One and has seen first hand the effects of Covid 19. Two of my children and three grandchildren have been tested positive with the virus, thank goodness with only mild to moderate symptoms and have since recovered.

On behalf of the Walleye Club I met with Jeremia at SCHEELS and accepted a $1000.00 donation on their annual day of giving back to area non-profits.
Thank-You SCHEELS!!
Mike Everding has been working on the Tournament permits and most of them, if not all, have been approved as of this writing. The only other event we have that is still pending is Outdoor Journey for Girls in July. Therefor I feel it is in the best interest of our Club that we postpone future meetings until it is safe to do so. I will keep in touch with the Executive Board as Club issues arise. As of now their is not much to discuss. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year.

Wishing all a Happy and Healthy New Year!!!
