Fished the noth end by the spawning grounds, and in the trees 25 feet.
We caught 20 fish, bluegills were 81/2 inches and one nice crappie
101/2 inches, and a couple of perch about medium size. It was a
little slow but was interesting. Still plenty of ice everyone is driving
trucks and cars on the ice, better to enter from the north ramp.

We were there yesterday and after trying several spots we finally found a spot in 26 fow and caught 40 keeper gills ,perch and craps in about 2 hours. We were just lucky to hit the right spot because it looked pretty bleak until then. It just shows the old adage of keep moving. RH
