Hi all, my sisters little nephew was born with his arteries to his heart not separated. He has had to endure around 20 open heart surgeries already with more to come. He is now only six months old. He is doing well now and has a long road ahead of him.
The reason I am telling you all this is. They are having a benefit for him on October 22 in Charles City. I am putting together some fishing baskets to donate to the benefit. I thought I might be able to get some help from members who have items that they would like to donate. Basically I will take anything and everything that people are willing to donate then buy the rest of the stuff to round them out.
If anyone has anything they are willing to part with they can bring it with or send it with someone who is going to clear lake.
I was hoping to have a very strong fishing presence at the benefit as fishing is going to be one of only a very few outdoor activities that he will be able to do when he gets older. Any help is greatly appreciated from the bottoms of our hearts. Thank you all

Re: little man big problems
Sorry to hear about this. I have some cranks and fishing line that are new in the box that I will be willing to donate. I will bring them with to Clear Lake.
