Happy New Year!
This year is our election cycle of Board members, we will be electing a President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, Recording Secretary and 8 Trustees for a two year term at our March 1st. membership meeting. All Club members are eligible for nomination and to vote. Nominations will be taken at our January and February meetings. For those members nominated and not in attendance at either meeting must submit a letter of acceptance to the Recording Secretary by February 16th. 2016 to be placed on the Ballot. Duties and responsibilities of The Cedar Valley Walleye Clubs Executive Board are to Govern the Clubs business and activities and make recommendations to the general membership for approval.
We will once again have our U.N.I.-Dome booth at both the Boat and Sport shows this year we need at least 2 members, no more than 4, at each time slot. There are currently spots that need to be filled for the Boat Show Sat. and Sun. This would be good time for the Tournament fisherman to get there qualification duty in for next years N.T.C. There is no admission fee for those that work our booth. Post or let Terry or myself know when you can help out.
Also our annual Club Banquet is February 27th. at The Knights Of Columbus Hall. We will have a sign-up sheet and Dinner Tickets available starting at this months meeting. (Our featured raffle items include 20 quality walleye rod and reel combos, both spinning and bait casting) Invite a neighbor or friend to join the Club this year and plan on attending this years Banquet for an enjoyable night out!
Reminder; Annual membership dues can be paid starting at Mondays Meeting.
