Old Fisheye Reports on Road Clean-Up & Stocking

Post by Old Fisheye »

Hey Old Fisheye Here,
Well I arrived at the Clean-Up site to find Randy H. & Darwin H. talking about the government shutdown. :o :o :o :o
A few minutes later President Tim arrived with Brian W. (Newest Member) :D :D :D :D .
After 20 minutes it was decided that if the President wanted to be in charge, and I wanted to drive the truck, that left the other three to do the clean-up.

After a short discussion the work crew went on strike and there was a SHUTDOWN......... :o :o :o :o
It was then decided by the guy in charge to RE-Schedule the event......

Now what about the Stocking????????????????????
President Tim and Randy H. were standing on the dock upon my arrival. That made three of us.
President Tim tried to get the local Sheriff's Deputy to join us, but Tim didn't have enough donuts.
So I took pictures of Tim & Randy and Tim took pictures of Randy & Fisheye.

Oh Oh, look it's Walt Ertz & Bob Stewart.
Now we were an Army of 5.......Good thing the Walleye delivery guy brought a driver so it looked like we were a large Walleye Club.      And as we were just dumping the last bucket Old Darwin H, return to help with the stocking after being at the Road Clean-up event.

All in All we delivered approx. 750 nice walleye into Dike Lake.
I however could be applying for disability retirement for carrying all of those buckets to the lake.      Walt did help with one bucket.
I guess I forgot to mention that due to the change of times & places, John Sampson and Tom Merron
did show at 8 am at the lake. Thanks guys for at least showing up for the event.

Hey Old Fisheye here reporting just the facts.........

Lets not beat up the people that did not show up too much.
There were a couple of funerals that had to be attended, and some had to work that day.
Just turned out to be a bad day to have it and somethings just can't be planned.
There is always another day for the cleanup, and the fish got stocked thanks to the ones that could
make it.
