First trip of the year to the big river, was great to be back in the Ranger!
fishing was great!
catching was bad! not a bite.
river is a mess, lots of grass and junk and lots of current.(3 mph plus)
black hawk park ramps are under, desto bay ramp is under, Steel bridge ramp is under, Genoa is the only ramp for awhile. Good news is they built a new entrance to the ramp and you don't have to go all the way the the power plant gates.
Give it three weeks and it should be good.
