Message: Hi Folks- We are looking for some help at an event we would like to having fishing at on May 10th from about 9:30am-2:30pm with about 750 high school freshman and their teachers here at the UNI campus. I heard through the grape vine that Milo & Bob were a great help to Lyndsey Anderson and she suggested your group might be able to help us. Chris Anderson said he would have fishing poles that could be used, but he is already busy teaching another class that day for us and so is Lyndsey so we were hoping a couple folks from your groups might be available? The day is broken down into 7- 35min class periods where you would have 1 group of 15-20 kids to work with for a session. There are also 2 adults with each class, so they are supervised as well. There\'s some real nice deep areas of the creek that run between the tennis courts and Price lab (over my head in some places) that we thought could be utilized for fishing since the wetland area will be in use with the kayaks.
We can help by providing assistants to whoever you might have from your group doing the teaching, we provide lunch and can certainly cover the cost of the bait etc. Would anyone from your group be interested in helping with this day of education? Please give me a call and I can talk to you about it or answer any questions. Thanks so much.
I would like to know if anyone in the club is up to this challenge, if so I will
find out more details, If not I will tell them we are not interested.

Re: class at UNI
Darrell, have you ever seen the creek she is talking about? It's so tiny you could almost jump across it. I don't see how you could even cast a pole to it with all the trees. I don't mind helping out but there must be a better place to do it. I know she said the kayacs were at the pond on the west side. RH
Rooster, I'm all shot to pieces, well you asked for it.
