"Fisheye" might be slipping a little, but the "eye in sky guy" was all over this action today! Reports came in early this morning to "eye in the sky command center" and after a quick look on a remote camera and yes it was Santa and his Elf in a boat. Fishing action was monitored for some time and recorded for anyone wanting to see Santa's spots and type of baits that were hot and number of fish that went into the bucket. Copies of these fishing videos will be for sale at the next meeting for a small fee!
It did look like Santa had a great day on the water, but sometimes Santa has to run the boat, net fish, and guide his elf to the fish. "Only the fact's"
Will have more reports tomorrow as more remote cameras were put out late this afternoon to keep an eye on a few spot down river and a new area up north a little bit.
Fisheye Here,
Searched the river from Waterloo to Shell Rock and then to Waverly with no results.
Of course this was before 10:00 am and I forgot those two you were talking about only go fishing in the afternoon. Just tink If they fished in the morning.
Tomorrows another day maybe I'll find those two then. were thinking of sleeping in till noon before we start so I'm sure we'll see them then.
Thanks for the early news on those two Fisheye JR,
Old Fisheye Here, Trying to Report Only the Facts.......
You so called "news guy reporters" where were you when Santa got all bent out of shape because our winch wasn't big enough to load santas flat over the big ice berm? We got it but he wasn't happy. Dropped ole wingding of at home and took his boat home---got the chain saw and spud barr ---went back to hackett road--- and proceeded to saw the rest of the ice off the ramp and push into river. What a pres! Hackett boat ram now open. Thanks Santa. Saw a few cvwc guys fishing from shore. BB you can get you boat in now. Wingding!
Wow, Wingding
I wish I had got there sooner to get pictures. It looked like the city had sent a road grader down there to clean out the ramp.
Excellent job pres.
I stopped by DNR Office to let them know we were maintaining the Westside of the river ramps and wanted to know when they were going to open the ramp on the Eastside
inside the park. Bad News no one was around the office.
Hope to see you all in Hudson in the morning for breakfast......
If I'd have know you guys were having trouble at the ramp, I sure would have helped. Did you try taking the fish out of the boat so it wasn't so heavy?
