Rainy Lake

Post by Brad »

Dad and I fished Rainy Dec. 28th and 29th. Didn't catch lots, but enough to keep it interesting! Here are pics of the better ones.

I knew someone would bring that up. I caught 2, as in two...Brad's bait was bigger than the fish I caught!

Awesome fish Brad! And Bill, tip-ups are like trolling, you work as a team, some lines seem to get most of the action.

Thanks guys, yes Tony, it was a dream come true to be up there and to be lucky enough to catch some nice fish.

You would see Dad in some pictures, but he was both camera shy and pretended not to hear anything when "FLAG" was yelled!

Great fish brad "THE MOVIE STAR"!

I think we all need to see the master in action landing that fish. If you go to IDO and look at the videos for this week from Chris Grandrud you will see Brad in action. I will have to add that is one heck of a hook set for a tip up! You should be ready to go bass fishing this summer with hook sets like that.

Old Fisheye!  You crack me up!

Matt, I'm glad you noticed the hookset! At least that didn't get edited out. At one point, Dad sounded like Troy from Swamp People hollering "SHOOT IT!! SHOOT IT, LIZABETH!!" Unfortunately, that bit along with some others ended up on the editing room floor. :(

We might have to get the video camera out on you some Tuesday night this summer! :)
