Boat Show Parking

Post by jighead-two »

Kind of early to bring this up for the boat show, but I didn't want to forget. I know 2 people who have been to events at the McCloud Center recently and parked in, I believe the gravel parking lot on the south side of 27th street. UNI has utility poles laying on the ground to assist in parking even. The 2 people I know parked their vehicles too close to the poles and damaged them enough, they couldn't drive them home, 1 was insurance company totaled. Radiator damage on both! So, if you have to park in any of those 2 lots ( I think it's lots C and R ) south of 27th street, be careful.

The parking lot on the West and or the South side of the UNI DOME had been reserved for the vendors. You can pick up a vendor tag for your car from the information booth at the show or from the Club's booth. Or as I have done in the past is just tell the parking lot attendant your with the Cedar Valley Walleye Club and show them your membership card -- I have not had any trouble parking in the reserved for vendors lot over the last six years.
