Jim and I went to Red Wing on the 13 & 14 th for the January thaw.
Fishing was poor both days, about 25 boats everyday and not many
fish. We caught small saugers, one keeper walleye and jim had a
30-40 lb. sturgeon that gave him a nice fight. Good to see open
water again, even though it froze everything in sight.
