Are you looking for tournament partner?

Post by dbonwell »

I know of a couple of guys who would like to fish the tournaments and are looking for partners. Throw your name on here if your interested in being a boater or co-angler looking for a partner.

Hi all, my name is Guy and I live in Fort Dodge. I am looking for a partner for this year. I am willing to do all of the tournaments. I do have a boat. Let me know.

Thanks

Welcome to our club Guy. Glad to have you aboard. I've fished our club tournaments many times and had some success but due to ongoing family health issues I don't feel comfortable to commit to any tournaments at this time. Anyway I hope someone will come forward to get to know you on this side of the state for the Mississippi ones, but maybe you already been there and done that. RH
Rooster, I'm all shot to pieces, well you asked for it.

Guy,
Glad too see a fellow "Ranger" owner join the club. How has this Iowa winter been treating you? Hopefully you like snow and cold and wind!
If you got any question about any of the club stuff just give me a shout. Hopefully you get someone to jump in your boat for some of the tournaments.
How is that cover working out for you?

Guy,
How much did you pay your buddy to take that cover so you could tell your wife it was better to just get a new boat? I think I will try that excusse on my wife, I got the new boat itch now.
What did you get for motors?
Did you go back to a walk thru?
Have you had anytime yet to fish in Iowa this fall and winter?

Matt-
Some farmer has it on a hay bail some where. I got a 250 pro xs and 9.9 with terrova w/ i pilot. Have not been out this winter but made it back to the missouri alot and over to storm a few times. I went to Brushy a lil in the old boat not the new boat yet. Got up to Lake Pepin a few times this fall.

Guy,
Sound like you are making yourself at home here in Iowa. If you are in need of someone to fill a emty seat sometime I'm game. Red Wing is the only thing open for now. But it won't be long and all of the river will be open!
I got to feel that 250 XS fly, So I can figure out if I need to loose my cover also!

Matt-
As soon as I get my HDS 10 installed I am game I will be ready to get out. I had to send a 111 into Lowrance and they did not know when they would have more in so this is what they sent me. I am excited to get it hooked up and working. I will let you know when I head out. It seems like no one in town here fishes for Walleye so I am always looking for someone to go with. That XS does fly, it will run about 65 full load, and way more power in the midrange than anything I have ever been in. Don't forget the ear plugs. Oh and I did go back to a full windshield. Decided I am not as tough as I thought I was.
