Thirteen Teams departed from Village Creek boat Landing at 7:30am last Saturday morning only to be greeted by a thick fog bank. After a two and a half hour delay for safety, we headed out to our primary fishing locations. Water conditions were somewhat stained and the main channel had weeds in some locations but that didn't hurt the fishing as many big bags were caught, photographed, recorded and released, including an all time two day record!! A variety of presentations were used including live bait rigging, vertical jigging hair, casting crank baits and pitching plastic and blade/one-eye baits. The tournament day one was extended to 5pm. with several large weights recorded. Day two weather condition were good and we started on time ending at 3:30 with even bigger weights recorded!!

Congratulations to the team of Mike Everding and Billy Martin for a Club record setting two day total of a whopping 59.33 lbs.!!! almost a six pound average! including big fish of day one at 6.75lbs. Also to the second place team of Jeremey Geisler and Mike Goltz with another huge weight of 47.72lbs.!! there were several big fish caught Sunday including Doug Bonwell/Jeff Heltibridle 9.09lbs, Mike E./ Billy M. 9.62lbs only to be bested by Todd/Sam Borwig with a whopping Big Fish Day 2,10.45 pounder, WOW!!
