I would say that would be a whole lot better idea too...Easy ramps and you could use the state ramp and the county ramp if need be.......13 degrees sat. morning and it is going to get icy fast....I could bring over a 3 or 4 pails of sand for Blackhawk if need be....

Anyway that this can be switched in years to come.....Not sure if it falls on Opening Pheasant season every year, but would be very interested to see and help in the process if held on a different weekend...

How about a pool 9 next year in May or June.. Lots and Lots of big walleyes caught at that time of year. Clear Lake early or late when the fish are actually biting .... Red wing was good. Lake Mcbride could have been really good with the right weather...Maybe real early.... Pool 9 for the championsh...

Good Luck to all in the tourney Saturday...It is nice to see the river will be down a little, hopefully cleaner, be safe, the flow will still be at 150,000+

Just in case anyone wonders who camodog is, Tom Schmitt here....Not trying to scare anyone about the river but I am willing to bet NOT many of us have had a lot of experience in 165,000 CFM, much less, (I am guessing), in a pool that most do not have a lot of experience on...Me included, I know on P...

I love fishing as much as anybody...don't get me wrong but 16.5 foot in Bellevue and 100,00 CFM+ is not safe...I have fished the river my whole life and the only troubles, (knock on wood) that I have had is when the water is high and wild.....The river is a wild dangerous thing when it is normal flo...
