2025 Clear Lake Results (Tournament #2)

Results from our Clear Lake tournament on Saturday. I created a video covering most of the tournament from my boat: 2025 CVWC Clear Lake Tournament Video. Feel free to check it out - I included Tim going over the results at the end as well.

Re: Crappies on Clear Lake

You're correct - CLFC has a e-tournament today and there was a musky tournament yesterday. LOTS of boats out (maybe 50?), the majority being fishing boats - but several pleasure boats out too. Forecast looks good so far... I'll keep my fingers crossed :D I don't normally keep much fish, but figured ...

Crappies on Clear Lake

I fished yesterday (April 26) and the bite was awesome. They were chasing down a jig/minnow aggressively, and the bite was even better when the sun was out. Most 10+ inches. Largest was 12.5". 7'-8- of water, they were about mid way or higher in the water column.

Re: Grundy County Lake Map

We have stocked this body of water for at least the past 12 years, many of the fish have grown to 25+ inches and larger. Due to all the lake structure provides a challenging walleye fishery. Awesome! Grundy County Lake Map

I got a start on mapping Grundy County Lake today. I will have an edited YouTube video in the future which will cover the entire process. Water level from the end of the loading dock to the lake bottom was 68". Water visibility was around 5'. Lots of "structure" placed around the lak...

Re: Final Official Pool 11 Results.

Tough bite for sure... some takeaways from the AIM group that helped me understand where I could improve: ( Original AIM Facebook post ) The upstart team of Govert and Thostenson won with 13.62 pounds...They may be new to tournament fishing, but they bring with them some old-school river fishing tec...

Club Member "Poker Chips"

Terry (Old Fisheye) spoke with Greg Detwiler (owner of Dezine Metal Art ) at the Sports Show in March. He pitched the idea to me that we could possibly get a club "poker chip" created, as a neat little souvenir for our club members. I'm posting here to get the thoughts and interest of othe...
